Andreas Duscha (1976) was born in Heidenheim an der Brenz (Germany). He studied history, sociology, and political science at the University of Münster and conceptual art at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna.
In the years 2002-2010 Duscha was a member of the artist group Mahony. He has participated in numerous group exhibitions in Austria, Germany, Italy, Argentina, USA, Ireland, UK and Switzerland. Solo shows (after 2010): The Second Third, Vienna (2013); OstLicht, VIENNAFAIR (2012); Silver Thaw, Vintagerie, Vienna (2012); Kigo, Edition Photo, Vienna (2011); Queen of the mist, Ve.sch Vienna (2011); Kimm Sun Sinn, Factory; Kunsthalle Krems (2010); Weite Welt Regal, Schloss Geymüller, Hollenburg (2010, with Mahony). His works are included in several public collections: Leopold Collection, Collection of the Belvedere, “Prints and Drawings”, Academy of Fine Arts Vienna; Fotosammlung des Bundes, Austria; Lenikus Collection.
